Joining him are Helena Holleran and Divina,  a powerhouse duo with captivating vocals and instrumentation. Jesus Gonzalez is a visionary local San Diego musician who draws inspiration from nature, poetry, and the overall experience of being alive. His live shows are a blend of improvised original songs, inviting listeners to fully embrace the moment. With his trusty looper, Jesus creates layers of soulful vocal harmonies, intricate instrumentation, and rhythmic percussion, weaving lush, expansive sounds that invite introspection. “At the core of it all, I think my music is simply shouting ‘Can you believe we’re all here?!’” he shared in a recent interview with NPR’s Top Shelf Artist series. From his Sunday sessions at The Template in Ocean Beach to sharing the stage with  Thee Sacred Souls at The Sound in Del Mar, Jesus Gonzalez’s live performances are unforgettable.

Eyes closed, ears open, as the sounds of Helena Holleran fill the void between them. Influenced by legends like Nina Simone, Curtis Mayfield, Amel Larrieux, and Esperanza Spalding, Helena blends the old with the new, offering something entirely fresh. Her music journey began during her senior year of high school with an internship at Surf Dog Records, where she honed skills that shaped her independent music career. By 18, she had secured sponsorships from QSC Audio and Taylor Guitars. Now pursuing music full-time, Helena performs at venues and festivals both locally and nationally. She’s also deeply involved in charitable projects like Banding Together, which brings music opportunities to individuals with special needs. 

A true musical chameleon, Divina has performed across an array of genres, from Latin jazz to reggae, soul, and hip-hop. Her unique live looping performances combine her love for music production with live instrumentation, delivering intimate and refreshing sets. For the last three years, Divina has fronted San Diego-based reggae/dub-hop band Boostive, sharing stages with big names like Bonobo, Domi & JD Beck, Tokimonsta, Slightly Stoopid, Matisyahu, and many others. With her eclectic style and years of musical experience, Divina always delivers a performance to remember. 

Dark yet danceable, Nihiser has carved out a loyal following, first in Stockholm and now in San Diego. Led by Keegan Smith (Francesca Fiore), Michael Panek (Transviolet), Dylan Hrebenach (PPERSONS), and Ted Neeleman (Mother G), the latest iteration of the group came to fruition after meeting at a cafe in San Diego, CA. Described as emotive, heinous, and unwavering, these brunettes do their best to move bodies. Their visceral live performances have graced stages across SoCal, making them a must-see act.
